Lena Le Huray
Lena has worked in the health and fitness industry since 2010. After obtaining her Personal Training Certificate from Mount Royal University in 2010, she worked training clients one-on-one, as well as teaching barre fitness classes. Lena then went on to study nutritional psychology at The Institute for the Psychology of Eating where she received her EPC certificate as a registered Eating Psychology Coach.
After realizing that health encompassed so much more than just eating right and exercising, Lena decided to go back to school to study psychology and received a Bachelor of Arts with honours from the University of Calgary. Currently, Lena has been accepted into the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Graduate Program at the University of Calgary starting Fall 2023. Lena is an avid researcher and has recently published her work investigating readiness to practice (R2P) in healthcare to The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing.
Lena is also a writer and the author of her book Food Rehab: For Food Junkies, which explores the reasons why we have a dysfunctional relationship with food and how we can change it. Along with her passion for research and writing, she is also the host of the popular podcast What the Health!? which you can find on iTunes.
